1. 不想继续在四川交通职业技术学院读书,要办理什么手续吗?

因身体、经济、学业等原因而不能继续学习或想转入其他学校读书的国际学生,须办理申请退学手续和居留许可变更手续,之后才可办理退学证明。

2. 休学或保留学籍后申请复学,如何办理?

国际学生休学或者保留学籍期满后,需于新学期开始前,至少提前2月申请复学。由本人提出申请,并附相关证明材料(因身体原因休学需提供医院证明等),自费学生缴纳学费后,方可办理复学手续。未按学校规定办理休学、保留学籍而擅自离校或休学、保留学籍期满未按时复学的学生将被视为自动退学。

3. 有事不能上课,需要办理请假手续吗?

是的,需要办理请假手续。国际学生因病或其它原因无法参加学校规定的课程学习和活动时,应事先办理书面请假手续。具体办理流程,先给所在学院的辅导员请假,获批后再给相应的学生管理办公室管理老师报备。未经准假或请假逾期者,按旷课处理。

4.汉语及中国文化研修想申请延期,该怎么办呢?

若您当前修读的汉语及中国文化研修为一学期制或一年制,且计划在当前学习期限结束后继续深造,需严格按照以下流程提交申请:请于当前学习期限结束前3个月,向国际学院办公室同步提交续学申请;待申请审核通过后,您的学习资格将正式延期,同时可凭审核通过证明办理学习居留许可的延期手续。

5.课程设置是什么样的

6.学期学年项目里每门课程的考核方式是否一致?

可能都有所不同,有些课程是需要学期末测试,有些课程是提交论文或者其他作业。

7.如果我获得奖学金,是一直资助到毕业吗?

我们每学年会有奖学金年度评审,根据学生在过去学年的学习成绩、学习态度及考勤、日常行为表现(道德品行)方面情况,对每名学生进行定量打分和定性评价。评价结果有享受、中止、取消或恢复各类奖学金资格。

Academic Studies & Student Status

1.What procedures are required if I no longer wish to study at Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Communications?

International students who are unable to continue their studies or intend to transfer to another institution due to health,financial,academic or other reasons must complete the withdrawal application and residence permit modification procedures before a withdrawal certificate can be issued.

2.How to apply for resumption of study after suspension or retention of student status?

After the expiration of study suspension or status retention,international students must apply for resumption at least3months before the start of the new semester.Students shall submit an application in person together with supporting documents(e.g.,medical certification for health-related suspension).Self-funded students may complete resumption procedures only after tuition payment.Students who leave campus without approval of suspension or status retention,or fail to resume studies on time after the expiration of such period,will be regarded as automatic withdrawal.

3.Do I need to apply for leave if I cannot attend classes?

Yes,leave procedures are required.International students who are unable to attend required courses or activities due to illness or other reasons shall complete a written leave application in advance.

Procedure:First,apply for leave from your faculty counselor.After approval,report to the student management office for record.Students without approval or with overdue leave will be recorded as absent.

4.How to apply for an extension for the Chinese Language and Culture Program?

If you are enrolled in the one-semester or one-year Chinese Language and Culture Program and wish to continue studying after the current program ends,you must follow the procedure below:Submit a program extension application to the International College Office3months before the end of your current study period.Upon approval,your study status will be extended officially,and you may use the approval document to apply for an extension of your study residence permit.

6.Are the assessment methods the same for all courses in the semester/academic year program?

Assessment methods vary by course.Some courses require a final examination,while others are evaluated through term papers,assignments,or other formats.

7.If I receive a scholarship,will it be provided until graduation?

We conduct an annual scholarship review each academic year.Each student is evaluated based on academic performance,learning attitude,attendance,and daily conduct(moral behavior).Based on the results,scholarship eligibility may be:Granted/Continued,Suspended,Cancelled,Restored.
